Guide to......MAC Foundations

Hey There!


So like my Guide to.....MAC Lipsticks formulas , I have gotten alot of questions on the types of MAC Foundations. There are alot of foundations ad formulas and it can be confusing. So as I am using MAC foundations on clients and testing and swatching these foundations, I have done my research on all the types of MAC foundations. 

So heres my guide to MAC Foundations.....


Pro Longwear SPF20 Compact Foundation:
This is a lightweight cream compact. It is suited for touch ups on the go. The compact foundation comes in 17 shades from light to medium to dark. It is a natural matte and contains UVA/UVB protection. Sheer to medium coverage. 
Suitable for: Normal Skins.

                                    


Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15:
Studio Fix Fluid is a natural matte finish. Has a medium coverage with UVA/UVB protection. Blends easily and evenly and long wearing. This foundation minimizes pores.
Suitable for: Oily and Combination Skins.

                                         


Pro Long wear Foundation:
Claiming to have 15 hours worth of wear, pro long wear foundation is a lightweight and creamy formula.It is neither matte nor dewy, blends easily and controls oils. 
Suitable for: Oily and Combination Skins.

                                                   



Matchmaster SPF 15:
Matchmaster is a demi-matte foundation, with a medium to build able coverage. Has a UVA/UVB protection. Reduces shine and has no ashy or chalky finish.
Suitable for: Oily Skin

                                               



MAC Face & Body: 
Mac Face and Body is a very popular foundation. Can be used on both the face and body. It is a lightweight liquid foundation. It is a low to medium coverage, that is build able. Has a satin finish and can be set waterproof with setting powder. 
Suitable for: All skin types, especially Dry and Normal skin.

                                                



Mineralized Moisture SPF 15: 
This is a combination of powders, that create a optical blurred effect, which diminishes fine lines, imperfections and even out skin tones. Has light reflecting particles and gives a natural satin finish. It also has Shea Butter and Vitamin A. 
Suitable for: Dry and Normal Skins, aswell as Mature Skins. 

                                                   


Mineralized Foundation: 
Mineralized foundation is a lightweight formula. It nourishes the skin and has a mineral rich hydration. Creamy and riched in Shea Butter, emollients and conditioning extracts.
Suitable for: Dry Skin.

                                                            


Studio Sculpt Spf 15:
Studio Sculpt is a creamy foundation, that is hydrating and brightening for dull and dry skin. It is gel based and contains silicone, medium coverage that can be built up and has a satin finish. 
Suitable for: All Skin Types, especially Dry, Normal and Mature Skins.

                                                     


Studio Fix Powder Plus:
Studio Fix is a powder and a foundation, that is all matte, long wearing and full coverage.
Suitable for: Oily Skin.

                                              


Studio Tech:
Studio Tech has a tri-system, water, emollient and powder elements. Very full coverage and comes in very light to very dark shades. 
Suitable for: All Skin Types.

                                            


Full Coverage:
An emollient based foundation. Opaque based foundation that covers birthmarks, scars and blemishes. Can be worn sheer or very heavy. Great for photography and is great for professional use. Wide Shade Ranges. 

                                         


Mineralised Foundation/Loose:
A silk, mineralised powdered foundation. Medium to build able foundation. Gives a radiant look. 
Suitable for: Sensitive and Mature Skins. 

                                                 


I hope this may help you all that are searching and wanting to get MAC foundations. It can be hard to find that formula for you, so this might help you.
