People Who Inspire Me....August 2015!!

Hello There,

How is your Wednesday going? I thought I would do a post, that I have been meaning to write in the last few weeks. I dunno if its the weather, but I think we are all feeling a little blue and down, maybe its the lack of SUMMER!! But with this, I think its important to have people to gain some inspirations from, not live like them, but putting some of their will power and open mindness into our lives, allowing other things and people into our lives, which in turn opens up more doors. I think its important! If you look at Obama, and we say I want to president, yes it is possible, but do you have a goal in politics? Or is it the fame? What about stripping it back and looking at what the people you look up to does to work towards their goals, their work ethic, driven personality, how they deal with life tasks? Is their something in it? If you want to be a principle in a school or gain a high position in your job, is it possible, yes it is!!! No matter what it is. Its about having a dream and goal and actually saying to yourself, I did that for me and what makes you happy. We all have one life, why waste it in something that only pays our bills, yes they need to be paid, but if you want something so bad, you will do anything to get there, whether its life, experiences, health or work, but having a positive mindset and being open to all experiences and avenues is as important. Blocking yourself off from anything is not good, just because taking risks are not the  thing to do???... Set a new way of life that suits you...After all its you living it no one else.!!
With that the 3 people I have mentioned, did not ask me to write about them, these are people, I daily/weekly follow for inspiration and to gain some knowledge etc.. These 3 people are just normal people, but are making an impact in alot of peoples lives, to get up and get moving not just in a health way but in a mindfull way and also in life!!!

"Joanne Larby-aka The Makeup Fairy"

Anyone that knows me will know I do love Joanne. She is in my books a true lady! Joanne works her ass off (Literally!!) and has done to get to where she is. She has become a successful business woman- with being hard working, driven, enthusiastic but also humble. For that I admire. She connects with her followers always and with that connection it is something unique. Her brand does not take her away from the reader and viewers and she is always non hesitate to reply. I think such a connection is so important, because her content reflects that. She is putting up exactly what her followers want and to know your readers is important. I think some people forget that she is a regular person, yes she has an amazing job, but work and dedication got her there, she wasnt handed it, like most people in this life, we work to achieve our goals and she has certainly done that. She has shown this in her worth ethic, daily life and her health and fitness goals. With this, she shares when she is having not only a good day but also her bad days, and because of that it proves that yes she is very much human, we all feel, hurt, pain, sadness and I think people really need to realise that. Her achievement of her brand is not only award able but incredible, I am so excited for her book in November and I can imagine like always it will reach alot of people, as it will address all that her followers and readers love and enjoy about Joanne herself and her thoughts and opinions...
I think if you are looking for someone who is very much in touch with her readers, talks about makeup, food, lifestyle, daily life, fitness and fashion then you need to follower her :D

" Pat Divilly"

I have been following Pat for a good while now, and if you dont know who he is, well he an author, speaker and health and wellness coach. Why did I pick Pat as my 3 inspirational people?...SIMPLE! He had a dream and he has worked hard and from the bottom to get to where he is now. Something I think everyone could take a little bit from. He keeps challenging and setting goals and bucket lists for himself and each time is working hard to achieve and experience them. He is not letting his life pass working in a job he hates for the sake of it, but creating a happy, healthy life. He is not only a great coach in fitness and health, not a great motivator regarding life goals and mindfull-ness. Right now I am taking his tips and breaking them down like he has said into 2 a week, something that is not only manageable but also do-able if you put your mind to it. Doing this regarding your health and lifestyle can also be applied to your daily life and goals. Setting any realistic goal can be gained if you put your mind to it. But being healthy and sound I think is so important for your well being and will aid your mentality and all these are synced and with Pat, you can get the sense of wanting to achieve and help people get that balance in life. Not only has he got 2 great books and 3rd on the way, based on Paleo lifestlyle, diet and recipes but he is also doing a seminar, which is more motivational and a workshop to help you get a kick start in your own life to where you actually want to be and out of the rut and to just "BE YOUR OWN HERO"!! Something we all should be in life. He also has alot of online webinars, hangouts on Youtube and Facebook Mentions all that are full of great information and something that will see you to get up and do something if not in your fitness but also motivate you in you life!

"Laura aka My Makeup Perspective"

I really love this lady~ she is simply the most honest and down to earth girl! Her life changes lately have proven that mind power, willingness, drive, and sheer hard work can get you to your goals. Laura has simply made the right choice in a healthy lifestyle aka Proper Wholesome Food + Regular Exercise  to get to where she is! ("You look good girl" !!!)
Her dedication has shown that once you put your mind to something, have a goal insight and doing it for the right reasons "YOU" then it and anything is possible!
Not only her that but her personality is down right honest, no matter the topic and I love that, we need more people like that in my opinion!! If you follow her snapchat you will find that she will be true to herself, sad, angry, happy, funny etc....all true to the real person she is. She runs 3 Youtube channels also along her social media and they are all worth a watch! From Beauty to Vlogs to Health, she has it covered. I think if you want a normal girl who is determined and is true to herself and what she says, then follow her! GO!

I hope you all liked this kind of post. I sometimes feel we all need that extra kick or lift, and these 3 are people who are doing that in their own lives and I think taking that motivation and applying some sort of positive thoughts and actions to our lives is needed and wanted! We can all look at celebs but these are real people doing real things. This is proper reality and the one that we should be paying more attention to. We are all designed to be great it is how we choose to be great in our path in life. Living without regret is not an option for me, so creating a life that is worth living, no matter at what pace is better then not trying at all. I am applying this to not just one, but all aspects in life. A shift in the motion is something we all need in life and can only be for the good if we allow it!

Some motivation for your middle of the week!!

Going the right direction!

Hello Dolls,

So the last 2 months personally, well have been tough. I have had to really change alot of things in my life. When it comes to that point you really have to try and get on and that's what I have been doing. Especially with my diet. I am not a person who is strict on what I eat, but I do know what my body likes and hates and what it can handle etc..
For example, I am not a coeliac, but I do think my body is gluten sensitive as it does take a few days to recover from that one potato or that pasta, knowing that I can alter and fix how I eat and how my body reacts.

"What I am now eating"..

Now to date, I am not fussing over food and worrying about how much is in this and that, but I am now concentrating on my portions. Heres what I eat....

Breakfast...

Granola with Yogurt & Orange Juice
OR
Scrambled or Poached Egg with a Tomato grilled and a slice of slimbo or weight watchers bread and Orange Juice.

Lunch...

A rocket salad with tomato, cucumber, beetroot, peppers, olives and either a protein like tuna or chicken or turkey, or just on its own.
OR
Rye Crackers with Hummus or a Light cheese spread and tomato
and Green Tea

Dinner...

Fish with Asparagus and Cous Cous
OR
Chicken with Mixed Veg (Courgette, peppers, baby corn) with BBQ or Sweet Chilli sauce
OR
Pasta and sauce
OR
A Fakeaway Pizza (tomato sauce, cheese, peppers, ham, sweetcorn) on a wrap and Sweet potato chips.

"What have I cut out??..."

I have cut out the following...

White Bread
Alot of heavy dairy
Cut down to a cup of tea a day
Potatoes
Chips (once a month)
Pizza and takeaways (once a month)
Anything jarred, like sauces
Junk food
Fizzy drinks
Alcohol
Biscuits
Ready made meals
Fried foods

"Holy Grail Food"

Rice Cakes
Gluten Free Gourmet Popcorn Co, Sweet and Salty Popcorn
Nakd Bars
9 Bars
Jaffa Cakes
Nut butters
Jelly
Homemade brown bread

"Exercise"

Lately I have found my weight has dropped from my diet, but being honest my whole problem areas have changed completely!!!
Now I am concentrating on my "love handles", bum and arms!
So I am walking at least 3 days a week and doing the following

Squats
Lunges
Jump Jacks
Russian Twists
Mountain Climbers
Chair Dips
V ups
Flutter Kicks
Crunches
30 sec Plank

I am looking for weights now, as what I really want to lose is my arm weight! It is really annoying me now, especially because I am losing everywhere else. So if any of you have any suggestions on workouts I can do please let me know.
Toning will be my next step. But Progress is Progress

But I am 2 stone off my goal  and am currently 2 stone down since May :)
I am not obsessing about the scales either. I weigh myself every 7-10 days, so it keeps me on the right track. We all have the time of month also that will alter the scales and our mood and the way we look at ourselves.. but thats being a woman! Accepting it and motivating myself  is what keeps me on my toes and giving me a new outlook on myself.

Galway races are the end of the month. I am looking forward to going shopping and getting dolled up.:) I have a new confidence in my figure (even though those arms!! need work)...

I really think, not being so hard on ourselves and over thinking it...really works! I have been focusing on other things also and just sticking to a shopping list I know I love and like. My appetite isnt as large anymore and when i do crave food its always that "time of month", so I usually just go with it in moderation. I am so suprised with myself and am delighted I can now see a change.:)
I will have those "fat" days, but they will come and go and tomorrow is a new day!
One thing I would suggest is "LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!" It knows what it wants and doesnt want! And also have fun with food, there are so many different ways to flavor food and its only finding what works for you! :)

I will at the end of this and when I reach my goal do a before and after! And maybe get in more detail about my journey. Right now I have committed to myself and when its right I will share my total journey.
I plan on getting into a more of a routine with exercise again, sharing playlists, motivational stuff etc on here and on Facebook.

I currently am doing "what i ate.. on Mondays and Thursdays" so you can see what I fix myself, to get you some ideas.
I would love any ideas or challenges you think I should do daily.

If you are interested in what I get up to I have set up a Blog Snapchat!!
So add me: nataliekeanemua
I will add you back, I do daily snaps and will share what I am up to and anything new! :)

Until next time ladies...

Motivation #June2015

Hey Dolls,

Any of you writers or bloggers have trouble naming your posts! Prime example here! ha!!

I have had a feeling for the last few days to write this. I suppose its also to help you, as to help me!
The topic of motivation is so vast and can really cover every situation and life experience.
weather its Fitness, Mental Health, Careers, Finance or simply doing something new in your everyday life.

Mine is more personal. Something I am still accepting. I do not want to share my personal stories here, or off load on people, but in the same right, I still think if any of you out there are going through a slump, confusion on where you are in life or need a extra kick, feel the blues, in a break up, feel bullied,  well I hope this may help you in some away.

I have learned that life can throw you so many curve balls, ones you never seen coming. In One day your life can have a huge change!

"When something goes wrong in your life,
Yell: PLOT TWIST & MOVE ON"

The above quote is one of many I look at everyday and think, thats how I got to play it. If you read a book, you never get the the happy ending without some sort of struggle, pain, sadness or emotional feeling, so why not look at life like that. We will all get what we need from life, but we all got to make the effort to write our own stories instead of people narrating them for us.

Its not easy, no one said it will be, no matter what situation you are in. But end of the day, if you can look back and say I was a good person, I helped him/her, I gave 100%, I am progressing slowly but progressing, My savings is low but I am still saving, I love my job, I love my friends and that you gave your whole heart into something new or special, then that feeling will never leave you.

People may put you down, leave you or hurt you, but we all have a lion inside us, a lion that is ment to roar not hide away. Be who you want to be, not what people think you are.

Getting fit, starting new in a new place, job, relationship all takes time, effort, respect and patience. Nothing is perfect but sometimes in life, its worth the bad to get the good then have nothing at all.

We all hit a block in the road, we may hit the takeaway instead of hitting that 5k, or spend money on another top we dont need instead of saving, or see what is good in front us until its gone, but we cannot beat ourselves up for the failures we tell ourselves we made, only learn and take tomorrow as another day.

The blues are easily found, but happiness is the best reward for any hardship, work or pain we come across, we all just gotta believe in ourselves and work hard to create something we deserve!

Nowadays, things are alot harder then 10 years ago, we all have to work on ourselves to get somewhere and someday someone will notice it, but never do anything to get praise, Praise youself silently and thank yourself by getting up and working even harder each day.

I hope this wasnt to heavy or boring here! I do feel we all need a pick me up, especially as we hit MIDWEEK and all of us may have a dream or ambition or wish, and we all need to find that spark to set ourselves alight to go get it.  We can all accomplish so much more with a little motivation!
Our goals/dreams/wishes may change due to things not under our control, but just means we where ment to try harder or create a new path to where we need to be!

If like me you are ADDICTED to Pintrest, you will have a board full of quotes, I love quotes. Kinda my think lately!
